Cardinal Health is hiring a Senior Coordinator, Collections to support accounts receivable operations. This role focuses on insurance follow-up and reimbursement, working directly with providers, payors, and patients to maximize timely collections and cash flow.

What You’ll Do
- Review and resolve outstanding AR accounts and insurance denials
- Conduct reverification of insurance benefits when missed by front office
- Research denied CPT codes and compliance requirements
- Work 50–100 denial cases per day depending on assignment
- Partner with insurance carriers to clarify reimbursement requirements
- Provide documentation and clear communication across all account contacts
- Consult with appeals department for disputed or denied claims
- Manage lifecycle of primary and secondary claims, including electronic claim interchange
- Support reporting deadlines and contribute to team productivity goals
What You Need
- 2+ years of insurance follow-up experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of managed care contracts, Medicare/Medicaid, and fee schedules (preferred)
- Experience with billing software and interpreting EOBs (preferred)
- Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and CPT coding (preferred)
- Medical terminology knowledge required
- Experience with chemotherapy and radiation billing is a plus
