Schedule

  • Full-time, remote position

What You’ll Do

  • Review outstanding AR accounts and follow up with insurance carriers to resolve denials and ensure payment
  • Research denied CPT codes and verify against LCD/NCD requirements
  • Identify payment trends and escalate issues impacting reimbursement timelines
  • Manage 50–100 denials per day based on supervisor assignments
  • Work with appeals department on disputed or denied claims
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all contacts with providers, payors, and patients
  • Take incoming calls from insurance carriers and patients regarding account status
  • Ensure processing and reporting deadlines are met consistently

What You Need

  • Minimum 2 years of insurance follow-up experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of managed care contracts, fee schedules, Medicare/Medicaid (preferred)
  • Experience with billing software, EOBs, ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding (preferred)
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and oncology billing (chemotherapy and radiation)
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
