Schedule
- Full-time, 100% remote position (limited to specific U.S. states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, IN, KS, KY, MO, MI, MN, NC, NM, OK, OH, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WY)
- Salary range: $85,000 – $110,000/year (depending on experience)
What You’ll Do
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for month-end close
- Investigate anomalies and resolve general ledger variances
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to drive efficiencies and financial insights
- Lead accounting activities for acquisition integration and revenue recognition
- Support third-party financial audits and complete debt covenant reporting
- Conduct technical accounting research and update financial records as needed
- Lead system migrations, internal controls, and process improvements
- Support GAAP compliance, documentation of new standards, and adoption of best practices
- Assist with treasury management, procurement, and day-to-day operations
- Document procedures, monitor controls, and support special projects as assigned
What You Need
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA license or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and process improvement skills
- Experience in SaaS, payment processing, or startup environments is a plus
