Schedule
- Seasonal, Full-Time (September–December)
- 40 hours/week, with overtime available during holidays
- Fully remote, open to candidates in AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MT, NV, NC, OH, SC, TX, UT, WI
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the professional and friendly voice of OpticsPlanet via phone and live support.
- Answer inquiries, check order status, resolve issues, and provide product recommendations.
- Initiate and close sales, convert on-hold orders, and inform customers of promotions.
- Apply discount decisions within company guidelines.
- Distribute calls to appropriate departments as needed.
- Build trust with customers to maximize sales and repeat business.
What You Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year call center or contact center experience in retail or service.
- 1+ year eCommerce sales experience assisting with product/service selection.
- Typing speed of at least 30 WPM with 95% accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (spelling, grammar, vocabulary).
- Proficiency with MS Office, email programs, and internet browsers.
- Patience, empathy, and strong customer service mindset.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and technical products a plus.
