ICF is hiring seasonal associates to contribute to our area of business that focuses on the review and analysis of public comments on highly scrutinized and often controversial public policy topics. Public Comment seasonal associates will support major federal rulemaking efforts by processing and analyzing comment submissions and preparing written technical support documentation. Topical areas within the Public Comment area of business include public health, energy, environment, labor, transportation, technology, and social and economic policy.
This opportunity is available to current undergraduate level junior or senior students. The seasonal role will be at least a ten-week commitment starting in Summer 2024 into Fall 2024. Individuals will work on a variety of projects and with a wide range of staff, and we estimate that the position will involve a minimum of 15 hours per week.
This position may be remote from any Central or Eastern U.S. Time Zone, or work hybrid from our Reston, VA headquarters. At this time, we are unable to provide any form of relocation assistance.
As a Seasonal Associate, Public Policy you will:
· Read and analyze public comment submissions and assign comments to topical categories
· Assist in processing comments and identifying mass mail campaigns
· Provide verbal and written progress updates to project staff
· Prepare written technical documentation
Basic Qualifications:
· Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program with at least two years coursework completed that would transfer to a junior or senior standing.
· US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Excellent written and oral communications skills
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Detail-orientation and strong analytical skills
· Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:$32,591.00 – $55,405.00
