What You’ll Do
- Serve as the liaison between transitioning practices and the centralized RCM team to align processes, resources, and performance goals
- Track transition timelines, hit milestones, and minimize operational disruption
- Troubleshoot transition issues in real time and escalate when needed
- Lead day-to-day operations for internal and external RCM teams, driving accountability, productivity, and quality
- Refine SOPs, training materials, and process documentation to support a scalable centralized RCM model
- Identify workflow efficiencies and drive standardization across practices
- Communicate transition updates, performance metrics, and operational insights to stakeholders and leadership
- Train and support internal and external teams, including new hires, during transitions
- Coordinate with vendors and outsourced partners, monitor performance metrics, and ensure clean integration with internal workflows
What You Need
- Associate degree or relevant certification (CRCR) or equivalent experience in RCM, billing, or medical collections
- 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, or related work
- Experience leading teams in billing, collections, denials management, or payer relations
- Strong understanding of RCM best practices, payer reimbursement policies, and claim adjudication
- Ability to analyze billing and financial reports to identify performance gaps
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving ability, especially during complex transitions
- Comfort working in fast-moving, evolving environments
- EMR/EHR + RCM system familiarity (Centricity, Athena, or similar) preferred
- Bonus points: transition management experience, EDI enrollments, contract interpretation, revenue cycle reporting
