- Collaborative work with clinical, finance, and operations teams
What You’ll Do
- Submit claims within payer guidelines and track for timely filing
- Monitor aging encounters and partner with clinicians to resolve items
- Resolve and appeal denied claims and optimize workflows with leadership
- Reconcile ERAs, post payments, and adjudicate claims
- Update missing demographic and insurance data
- Identify process gaps and improve efficiency in billing operations
- Manage small cross-functional projects and maintain strong documentation
What You Need
- 3+ years experience in medical billing or revenue cycle roles
- Proficiency with medical billing software and EHR systems
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Detail-driven problem solver with initiative
- Ability to juggle multiple systems and adapt in evolving environments
