A division of Harris, Globys is seeking a Sales Development Representative. At Globys, we know that the key to growth is a high-performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified sales development representative (SDR) to identify and screen potential customers who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching large, complex, multi-national organizations, developing new relationships, and setting up Sr. Sales Execs for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales, and account-based sales/marketing, as well as experience and success cultivating new sales opportunities in complex accounts.

This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US. This role is a bit unique as most of the prospects you would target are outside of North America, primarily in Europe, with some in LATAM and other regions. Dealing entirely in English, this role requires flexibility in working across international time zones and cultural sensitivity to engage effectively with a global clientele.

Objectives of this role

  • Represent the company’s products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as marketing assets (case studies, research, etc) to explain how our solutions meet customer needs
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing cold and warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities within target accounts
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage senior sales executives in next steps
  • Identify best practices for continually improving and refining the company’s lead-generation playbook

What your impact will be:

  • Utilize Salesforce, cold calls, and various other channels (email, etc) to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services
  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
  • Report to sales/marketing manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

What we are looking for:

  • Two or more years of experience in ABS/ABM based sales environment, with a track record of exceeding lead targets
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Ability to effectively inter-act with large, multi-national prospects across international markets (globally)
  • Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills

Salary: The total compensation package for this position offers a base salary ranging from $55K to $65K, with the potential to earn up to a maximum of $85K annually, including performance-based bonuses. The $85K represents the total possible earnings, combining both base salary and incentives.
