AnswerAide provides customer service outsourcing for our customers. This position will be working in a virtual contact center, from home, for a leading manufacturer in its field since 1974. They are a small kitchen appliance company that primarily manufactures blenders and slow juicers.

Our customer is committed to continuously refining their technology and products to help their customers accomplish a healthier diet every day. They deeply care about the quality of their products. They have more than 70 designers, engineers, and nutritionists who carefully craft their products and recipes with the finest materials and ingredients using a precise production process.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Managing and maintaining customer information databases while supplying product and service information, processing customer transactions, troubleshooting issues, and solving customer inquiries
Contribute to customer satisfaction through the resolution of customer service requests while meeting the team and individual productivity goals
Enable policy adjustments and product exchange requests, and when necessary, escalate emergency service situations to Leaders, Team Advisors, and Managers
Inbound contacts via multiple channels- phone, email, chat
Ability to manage multiple tasks and computer systems
Customer service both internal and external

Minimum requirements:

High School Diploma/ GED
Ability to provide an in-home office environment in its own space, away from the normal living space
A high-Speed internet connection, 25+ Mbps
A computer that has 4+ GB of ram, a UPS battery backup, and a USB headset
Must be able to work shifts between 9 AM – 6 PM Monday to Friday
At least one year of customer service experience

Preferred Skills and Experiences

Ability to type at least 35 error-free words per minute while interacting with customers
Excellent spelling and grammar
Ability to troubleshoot issues and find appropriate resolutions while maintaining empathy and professionalism
Intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate through multiple systems
Experience with computer setup and overall computer literacy
Previous virtual call center experience or applicable retail customer service experience
Experience working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple computer programs, across multiple screens
Experience with Zendesk is a plus
