Recently, Pomelo acquired The Doula Network to expand access to in-person birth support nationwide.
Schedule
- Remote, U.S.-based role.
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CT.
- Salary range: $45,000–$55,000/year.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct outbound calls, SMS, and emails to enroll referred clients into doula care.
- Match clients with doulas in the Pomelo Care network.
- Document all referrals and interactions accurately in the system.
- Coordinate with health plan case managers and providers to meet enrollment goals.
- Confirm health plan eligibility and process referrals promptly.
- Manage inbound calls, answer client questions, and educate families on the benefits of doula care.
What You Need
- Fluency in Spanish (professional communication level).
- Experience with healthcare referral systems.
- Familiarity with Medicaid health plans.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
