About the RoleThimble is looking for two recruiters to assist in our high growth!  
Reporting to the Head of Recruiting, you’ll make a big impact here by hiring top talent to multiple teams across the business. You’ll utilize the network you’ve built upon years of experience, along with your awesome sourcing skills to find qualified candidates for the following departments: marketing, product, customer success, and insurance. 
If you have experience recruiting for high-growth, venture-backed startups and you’re an excellent communicator, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Full life-cycle recruiting, working on multiple reqs at a time
  • Meet with hiring managers to understand their reqs and needs
  • Source qualified candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, your network, etc.
  • Coordinate and schedule team calls including kickoff meetings and debriefs to discuss needs and outcomes
  • Help educate and train interviewers and new hiring managers on best practices, and advise hiring managers to help make better hiring decisions
  • Create reports on hiring progress and other recruiting metrics
  • Establish connections with professional groups, communities and other organizations
  • Be a vital member of the recruiting and people operations teams, discussing and helping to improve upon processes, business objectives, and projects as it relates to our goals
  • Option to assist with various side projects including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, HR, and talent development initiatives

Qualifications

  • Proven success as a recruiter with experience in sourcing and hiring from various and diverse resources
  • Experience using an ATS (we use Lever)
  • Knowledge of effective hiring practices 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working on multiple positions, with multiple hiring managers and interviewers at a time
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Meet other Thimblers, and get to know the team, your peers and stakeholders
  • Learn our products and company culture
  • Meet and build relationships with your current hiring managers and interviewing teams
  • Understand our hiring process and workflows 
  • Learn and work in Lever
  • Manage a full-desk of at least 3 positions, including sourcing 
  • Manage a full-desk of at least 4 positions, including sourcing
  • Learn how to gather metrics in Lever
  • Discuss your best sourcing practices and tools with the team
  • Continue learning more about our products and business
  • Continue learning more about our culture and meeting other Thimblers
  • Close at least 5 open roles.
