Schedule
- Full-time, fully remote
- Set schedule between 7 AM and 7 PM Central
- Works closely with RCM leadership, payment posting teams, and cross-functional support
What You’ll Do
- Accept and process assigned 835 payment batches
- Correct remittance errors within assigned 835s
- Post self-pay payments to guarantor and patient accounts
- Manually post EOBs from EFTs, paper checks, denials, and related follow-up details
- Close batches by validating entries and ensuring control totals balance
- Post insurance recoupments with correct payment codes
- Research and resolve unidentified payments
- Work unmatched 835s, including missing payments
- Complete additional tasks assigned by Lead or Manager
What You Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret EOBs
- Minimum 1 year of Revenue Cycle Management experience
- Knowledge of primary, secondary, and tertiary insurance workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to navigate multiple software platforms quickly
- Strong analytical skills and independent judgment
- Ability to work well both independently and within a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
