- Full-time remote position

Responsibilities
- Review new and existing condominium and cooperative project documentation for compliance with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines
- Evaluate eligibility using questionnaires, appraisals, budgets, financial statements, bylaws, CC&Rs, insurance declarations, leasehold agreements, and offering plans
- Communicate project status (approval, suspense, denial) to internal and external parties
- Serve as the primary contact for HOAs, management agents, developers, sponsors, and co-op boards to gather additional information
- Maintain and update internal project databases with accurate data
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to expedite project reviews and approvals
- Provide coaching and problem resolution to staff regarding condo and co-op requirements
- Prepare timely reports, manage pipelines, and adhere to service level agreements
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a high-volume environment
Requirements
- 3–5 years of mortgage credit underwriting experience preferred
- Knowledge of Fannie Mae (FNMA) and Freddie Mac condo and co-op underwriting guidelines
- Familiarity with investor and MI company guidelines
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues independently
Work Environment
- Remote role with moderate office-style conditions
- Primarily sedentary, occasional light physical activity (up to 25 lbs.)
