Schedule
- 100% remote (strong preference for Eastern Standard Time)
- Full-time role, standard weekday hours
- Must maintain a private, confidential workspace
Responsibilities
- Manage initial and reappointment privileging processes to ensure providers remain fully approved without lapse.
- Maintain accurate privileging data within the credentialing database.
- Identify and escalate issues requiring additional review or resolution.
- Build and sustain relationships with partner sites; participate in site meetings as needed.
- Serve as point of contact for inquiries from clinicians, facilities, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with clinicians and partner sites to resolve privileging issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of direct experience with clinical staff credentialing or provider credentialing in a managed care setting.
- Knowledge of TJC (The Joint Commission) and NCQA standards.
- CPCS or CPMSM certification (NAMSS) strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective relationship-building and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credentialing/privileging software systems.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $25–$32 per hour, based on experience, education, and certifications.
