What You’ll Do
- Confirm registration data, demographics, and insurance coverage before service
- Discuss and collect patient liabilities to ensure financial transparency
- Secure accurate records to support billing compliance and patient satisfaction
- Meet daily productivity and quality standards for pre-registration processes
What You Need
- 1+ year customer service experience preferred
- Medical terminology proficiency (by exam)
- One of the following:
• 1 year admitting, billing, or registration experience in healthcare
• Graduate of a health vocational program (Medical Assisting, Billing, Insurance, etc.)
• AA degree with 6+ months healthcare experience - Post-high school coursework preferred
- NAHAM Certification a plus
