About the Role
The Healthcare Posting Specialist is responsible for processing payments, adjustments, and denials with precision. This includes handling ERAs, EFTs, EOBs, and lockbox processing. You’ll collaborate with billing and collections teams to resolve discrepancies, maintain accurate financial records, and support reporting for reimbursement analysis.

What You’ll Do
- Process payments, denials, and adjustments, ensuring accurate posting to accounts
- Manage ERA, EFT, and lockbox transactions in compliance with regulations
- Verify payments, identify discrepancies, and resolve posting issues
- Maintain accurate records and support reporting for reimbursement tracking
- Collaborate with billing, revenue cycle, and collections teams to resolve posting concerns
- Communicate with team members to clarify EOBs and payer documentation
- Stay current on payer guidelines and regulatory requirements
What You Need
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare payment posting experience
- Solid knowledge of payer EOBs, reimbursement, and utilization practices
- Proficiency with ERA, EFT processing, and lockbox operations
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office and revenue cycle or billing software
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills in a remote team environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must pass a background check (includes credit check due to financial responsibilities)
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated pay: $22–$24 per hour (based on skills, experience, and location)
