Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Remote (must reside in Connecticut)
- Call Center hours: Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM; rotating Saturdays, 9 AM – 4 PM; after-hours covered by on-call rotation
- Pay range: $33,500 – $47,900 per year (based on experience, skills, and location)
- Benefits start day one
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and respond to pharmacy questions from prescribers and providers.
- Analyze pharmacy claims and provide clarification or resolution.
- Verify and explain pharmacy benefits as requested.
- Document all inquiries and responses accurately.
- Process prior authorization requests, determine approval or denial, and document rationale.
- Support a 24/7/365 call center environment through scheduled shifts and on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Active Connecticut Pharmacy Technician license.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).
- Knowledge of pharmacy claims and dispensing systems.
- Experience with Medicaid & Medicare Part D.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook mailbox management.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality under HIPAA.
- Must live in the State of Connecticut.
