We are looking for a hands-on, innovative, highly energetic and collaborative professional to join our team. In this role, you will be part of growing a People Solutions team that develops and delivers repeatable processes, systems, and practices to enable the success of all Ginkgoneans.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data entry, management, and audit for sensitive information related to our employees
  • Responsible for working with new hires in the pre-boarding and onboarding process to make sure all information is accurate and company is compliant with employment laws
  • Inputs, maintains, audits, extracts, manipulates, and analyzes confidential HR data Initiates changes to the HR Information System (HRIS) associated with various personnel events such as job or organization changes and salary actions
  • Runs periodic data audits of HRIS data to ensure data consistency and accuracy
  • Assists coordinators and supervisors with accurate and timely completion of employee performance reviews
  • Tracks evaluation progress and provides reminders and assistance completing documents
  • Support HR team with annual performance management & pay planning processes
  • Coordinates New Hire onboarding sessions
  • Completes employment eligibility documentation, including I-9’s and E-Verify in a timely manner
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR contact
  • Special Projects: deliver HR initiatives through completion and create reporting to track progress

Minimum Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • You have 1 – 3 years of related experience driving operational excellence, in addition to prior experience in biotech / pharma
  • You are great at diagnosing problems, using your critical thinking skills to devise innovative solutions
  • Ideally, you have a working knowledge of one of the following HCM / payroll systems: Workday, ADP, Namely, Ultimate Software
  • You are a quick-learner and a self-starter who is comfortable jumping into a new situation and making a difference, and you pay rapt attention to detail and enjoy variety in your job
  • You are a strong communicator (written and spoken) and are able to effectively collaborate with a wide range of people
  • You thrive in a high-growth/fast-paced environment, and you are highly adaptable to changing priorities and can adeptly pivot to meet emerging needs
  • You are able to apply the highest level of confidentiality regarding employee and candidate records
  • You have a strong passion and drive for Ginkgo’s mission.
