Wonderschool is seeking an People Operations Generalist who is passionate about contributing to our mission and purpose by helping build a community at-work culture through employeesupport, a best-in-class employee experience, programming, and nurturing strong and trusting relationships with employees and managers alike.

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and delegate, escalate and respond to requests in a timely manner and ahead of departmental SLAs
  • Processing unemployment and workers comp claims, I9s, and state required reporting
  • Serve as a SME and administrator on the HRIS system and the full HR tech stack
  • Administer all leave of absence including FMLA, STD, LTD, Parental leave, and respond to all leave related questions 
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR per state and federal regulations and applicable employment, benefit, and leave laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required
  • Collaborate with Payroll to ensure all employees are paid timely and accurately
  • Administer all employee benefit programs including new hire enrollments, life changes, open enrollment, terminations and billing
  • Support the HR cyclical programs: performance, compensation, engagement
  • Maintain HR records, generate reports, change letters, and manage documents

Required Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of HR Generalist in-depth experience in one or more HR subject areas (programming, benefits administration, HRIS administration, LOAs, employment law, training and development, etc).
  • 2+ years managing LOAs
  • 2+ year of benefits administration experience
  • 2+ years of HRIS administrator experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • HR experience with a SaaS organization
  • Experience working in a high-growth and fast-paced environment
  • Triaging inbound HR requests

What We Offer: 

Wonderschool provides the wage ranges it reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for all remote roles and as otherwise required by applicable law. The expected range of starting pay for this role is $80,000 – $100,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary within the listed range based on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, experience, and specific geographic location.
