- Monday – Friday, core business hours
- Must be able to work within customer deadlines
Responsibilities
- Serve as the named payroll specialist for assigned Managed Payroll and Payroll Administrative customers
- Provide full-cycle payroll processing, research, and troubleshooting
- Manage daily support cases to meet SLAs and client satisfaction goals
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly client calls, plus transition meetings for new accounts
- Configure Workday pay components, deductions, run categories, and year-end processes
- Troubleshoot quarter- and year-end audits, recommend improvements, and assist with special projects
- Collaborate with internal peers to resolve escalations and provide root cause analysis
- Maintain payroll documentation, metrics, and scorecards
- Support overall team improvements, process updates, and customer satisfaction initiatives
Requirements
- Associate’s degree required
- 3+ years of end-to-end payroll experience, including research, logic, and troubleshooting
- 3+ years of customer-facing experience (or equivalent skillset)
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and multi-jurisdiction tax
- Year-end and W-2 support experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple customers and competing deadlines
- Self-directed with urgency and accuracy in delivery
Preferred
- Experience in outsourcing environments (payroll/tax)
- Workday and Salesforce experience
