Schedule
- Full-time, fully remote
- Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm EST
- Pay range: $24.50–$36.50/hour
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, monitor, and maintain facility and provider credentialing processes
- Build relationships with payer representatives to ensure timely processing of physician enrollment
- Investigate claim issues to identify enrollment-related errors and resolve them
- Correct enrollment discrepancies in collaboration with payer representatives
- Maintain internal databases and update physician information with contracted managed care plans, Medicare, and Medicaid
- Adhere to HIPAA and applicable federal/state regulations
- Provide professional customer service via phone, email, and virtual meetings
- Support revenue cycle teams with reprocessing claims due to enrollment errors
- Assist with other department projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration preferred, or 4–5 years of credentialing/project management in healthcare
- 2–3 years’ experience in a healthcare organization or large hospital facility
- Strong knowledge of CPT, DRG, HCPC, procedure/revenue codes, and reimbursement impacts
- Experience with PECOS, CAQH, MDstaff, or other credentialing software
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and advanced data analysis tools
- CPCS or CPMSM certification preferred (not required)
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information and resolve problems proactively
