Schedule
- Full-time, remote position
- Monday–Friday schedule with collaborative team-based work environment
Responsibilities
- Post and reconcile payments from patients, payers, and third parties in a timely manner
- Maintain positive relationships with franchises through regular communication
- Obtain and process remittance notifications from internal and external sources
- Reconcile accounts per company policies and communicate payer issues with relevant departments
- Assist IT in implementing applications to support payment posting processes
- Track payer recoupments and process refunds or offsets as needed
- Scan checks for daily deposits and process credit card payments
- Analyze EOBs to ensure proper adjustments and transfers
- Index payments into workflow for timely posting
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of insurance payment posting experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and pharmacy applications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to identify and resolve gaps or problems effectively
