This role ensures smooth processing of provider applications and renewals, keeping compliance and accuracy at the forefront.

Schedule

Responsibilities
- Process initial and reappointment applications for hospitals and surgical centers
- Maintain provider licensure, credentials, and continuing education records
- Track and update immunization documentation (TB, flu, HepB, COVID, etc.)
- Manage credentialing database (Verity) with demographic and licensure updates
- Handle online applications (Silver sheet, HCA, MDApp, Banner Health Systems, Verity HUB)
- Front-load new hires, monitor renewals, and maintain follow-up spreadsheets
- Coordinate COI requests and maintain correspondence files
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality, peer review guidelines, and information security policies
- Communicate with providers via phone, Zoom, Teams, email, or text
Requirements
- High school diploma required; AS/BS in business administration or healthcare preferred
- 1+ year of credentialing experience required
- CPMSC/CPCS certification preferred
- Knowledge of state licensing requirements and federal regulations
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and credentialing databases
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
