About the Role
This position handles payer enrollments, revalidations, and follow-up on claim and eligibility issues. You’ll collaborate closely with EMS clients, internal teams, and external partners to ensure accurate setup and efficient billing workflows.

Remote, Full-Time
Standard business hours (U.S.)


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate payer enrollments and revalidations on schedule
  • Assist with onboarding new clients
  • Resolve claim submission and eligibility issues
  • Maintain relationships with client contacts and serve as a key point of support
  • Work cross-functionally with billing, project management, and client relations teams
  • Navigate internal systems to review claim details, run reports, and track payment issues
  • Manage inquiries and assist with implementation concerns as needed

Requirements

  • Experience in EMS billing or healthcare/medical terminology preferred
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Familiarity with lockbox processes and ticketing systems preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to learn new software and understand workflow systems
  • Excellent phone, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and accurate
  • Able to remain calm and professional when resolving issues
