Schedule
- Fully remote position (U.S. based)
- Full-time schedule with reliable attendance required
- On-camera participation for training, team meetings, and regular check-ins
- Must have a designated quiet home workspace and secure high-speed internet
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
- Review and verify patient insurance eligibility
- Process referrals and prescription renewal requests with accurate documentation
- Communicate with providers via phone, email, or secure messaging within the clinical portal
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and related guidelines
- Scan and import documents into patient charts
- Relay information between patients and clinical teams for specialty services, medication requests, and other needs
- Collaborate with call center management to resolve issues and ensure service quality
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of call center customer service experience
- 1+ years of healthcare or patient services experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for accurate record-keeping
- Ability to navigate EMR systems and multiple software platforms
- Private, secure home workspace free from distractions
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with appointment scheduling
- Familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
