BroadPath is hiring Patient Support Representatives to join our remote team! In this role, you’ll support patient access by managing inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, processing documentation, and coordinating care-related communications. You’ll also communicate directly with providers via phone, email, or secure messaging within the clinical portal—relaying important information such as medication requests, referrals, or specialty services.
Patient Support Representatives serve as the vital link between patients and clinical teams, ensuring timely, accurate, and compassionate support.
💰 Compensation Highlights
- Training/Nesting Pay: $16.00/hour
- Production Pay: $16.50/hour
- Performance Bonuses: Earn up to $2/hour more during training and nesting for meeting attendance, QA, and accuracy goals (potential up to $18/hour)
- Weekly Pay!
📅 Schedule Highlights
- No weekends required!
- Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM PT
- Production Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PT
- Full-time, ongoing role (no pre-determined end date)
📝 Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and place outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, or confirm appointments
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and update records
- Process referrals and prescription renewals, ensuring accurate documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of patient health information (HIPAA compliance)
- Document updates in patient charts and escalate issues as needed
- Scan, upload, and organize patient documents
- Support additional administrative tasks as assigned
✅ Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of call center customer service experience
- Demonstrated job stability (at least one year per previous role)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for patient-facing interactions and accurate recordkeeping
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and compliance
- Skilled at multitasking—navigating multiple systems while engaging with patients
- Quiet, designated home workspace with secure internet connection
Preferred:
- High call volume experience
- Appointment scheduling background
- Familiarity with EMR systems (especially EPIC)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
