What You’ll Do

  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience through inbound and outbound call resolution, focusing on first-call solutions
  • Answer patient questions about statements, insurance, benefits, balances, and payment plans
  • Manage inquiries across multiple communication channels using EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech
  • Apply healthcare terminology knowledge (HIPAA, CPT & ICD-10 codes, HCFAs, UB04s, EOBs, referrals, etc.) to resolve issues
  • Research and resolve patient concerns quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Support training and mentoring of new hires during their onboarding period

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare call center environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Comfort working with EMR and multiple digital systems
