We accept most insurance plans and offer affordable cash-pay options to increase access to care nationwide.
Schedule
- Full-time, remote position
- Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm PST (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Compensation: $23–$25/hour (non-exempt, 40 hours per week)
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients with billing inquiries
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify insurance coverage and benefits
- Use Zendesk to manage and resolve billing issues promptly and professionally
- Guide patients through financial obligations and payment options
- Participate in audits to identify billing discrepancies and improve processes
- Update EHR systems and manage patient intake, scheduling, and payments
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards
What You Need
- 2–5 years delivering best-in-class patient support
- 1–2 years of billing experience
- 2 years of Zendesk and Athena (EHR/EMR) experience
- 2 years of Google Workspace experience
- Prior remote work experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable internet and a quiet, distraction-free workspace
