Schedule
- Fully remote position within the United States
- Requires reliable high-speed internet and private workspace
- On-camera participation required for training, meetings, and regular check-ins
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist with benefits, eligibility, scheduling, and inquiries
- Provide accurate plan and coverage information
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments with providers
- Process referrals, authorizations, prescription renewals, and other requests
- Assist with claims, billing, and account updates
- Review and update records in EMR or CRM systems
- Communicate with providers and internal teams via phone, secure messaging, or email
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or supervisor
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of call center customer service experience
- 1+ year of healthcare or health insurance experience (member services, patient services, or similar)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems while handling calls accurately
- Demonstrated reliability and stable work history
Preferred Qualifications
- Appointment scheduling or benefits inquiry experience
- Familiarity with EMR or CRM systems (EPIC, Facets, etc.)
- Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology
