Schedule

  • Fully remote role within the United States
  • Schedules assigned based on business needs between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time
  • Full-time, long-term opportunity (not seasonal)
  • On-camera participation expected for interviews, training, meetings, and regular check-ins

What You’ll Do

  • Answer inbound calls and place outbound calls to help members or patients with benefits, eligibility, scheduling, and service coordination
  • Provide clear, accurate information about plan benefits, coverage, and account details
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments with providers
  • Process referrals, authorizations, prescription renewals, and other support requests
  • Assist with claims questions, billing inquiries, and account updates
  • Review plan eligibility and update records within internal systems
  • Document all interactions accurately in EMR or CRM tools
  • Communicate with providers and internal teams via phone, secure messaging, and email
  • Protect confidential health information and follow HIPAA and privacy guidelines
  • Escalate complex situations to the appropriate team or supervisor when needed

What You Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of call center customer service experience
  • 1+ year of healthcare or health insurance experience (member services, patient services, benefits support, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a professional, patient tone
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and screens while staying accurate on calls
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a private, designated home workspace
  • Stable work history with a track record of reliability and at least one year per prior role
  • Commitment to a long-term role and building a career with the organization
  • Comfortable being on camera for training and ongoing team interactions
  • Preferred: experience with appointment scheduling, EMR/CRM systems, EPIC, Facets, and basic medical/insurance terminology
