Schedule & Pay
- Remote, Regular Full-Time
- $15.00/hour
- Must be able to work mid-day, evening, and alternating shifts
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from patients, providers, and members
- Manage urgent or emergent patient calls with professionalism and care
- Support members with insurance needs, including claims, appeals, and authorizations
- Guide members through insurance usage—changing PCPs, finding urgent care, obtaining prescription authorizations
- Provide 24/7 triage support by prioritizing calls for Registered Nurses to deliver health advice
- Deliver clear, empathetic communication while ensuring patient confidentiality
- Make a meaningful impact on every call by helping patients navigate their healthcare journey
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (will be verified during background check)
- Prior healthcare experience required (examples: medical front office, PBX/911 operator, medical assistant, nursing assistant, or similar)
- Strong computer skills (data entry, navigation, keyboarding)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Excellent oral/written communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and professionalism
- Must provide two 22-inch monitors with HDMI and Display ports
- Ability to work mid-day and night shifts with alternating days off
