Schedule
- Full-time, remote work from home
- Must be able to work mid-day and nights with alternating days off
- Inbound call environment with triage support responsibilities
- Equipment requirement: 2 monitors (22-inch each) with HDMI and Display ports
What You’ll Do
- Take inbound calls from patients, providers, and members
- Help manage calls involving illness, urgent situations, or higher-acuity needs
- Support members with insurance questions and concerns
- Explain how to use health insurance, including changing PCPs, finding urgent care, and prescription authorizations
- Provide 24/7 triage support by assigning priority for an RN to provide health advice
- Answer questions related to benefit claims, appeals, and authorizations
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED (verified during background check)
- Healthcare experience (medical front office, PBX/911 operator, medical assistant, nursing assistant, or similar)
- Strong computer skills (data entry, screen navigation, keyboarding)
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Excellent customer service, communication, empathy, and compassion
- Ability to work mid-day and night shifts with alternating days off
- Ability to provide required home equipment (2 x 22-inch monitors with HDMI and Display ports)
