What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Patient Care Advocate, you will be responsible for:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to educate members regarding Amplifon Hearing Health Care (AHHC) program features such as insurance benefits
- Review and verify health plan benefit for insurance eligibility and insurance information
- Demonstrate and maintain a thorough and complete working knowledge of appropriate Amplifon information management systems and telephone systems
- Schedule initial exam appointments for customers and provide follow ups on after care appointments – ensure accurate documentation are maintained within our information management system
- Respond to inquiries through various channels (Webchat, Emails, Text Messages, etc.) in a promptly manner
Qualifications:
- 6 month fixed term
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to follow a multi-step authentication process
- Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a wide range of patients, colleagues, and vendors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of the hearing healthcare industry is desirable
- Excellent technical savvy ability, a good knowledge and understanding of modern technology, especially computers and experience using modern technology for the purpose of enhancing productivity and efficiency
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Previous customer service experience
