Title: Partner Development Associate

Role Description:

As Partner Development Associate, you will plug in with our go-to-market teams (sales, marketing) to steer goals. From a partnerships perspective, you will mostly augment the effectiveness of our partner managers by implementing and owning key components of our partner program. You will help our existing partners such agency partners, VCs/incubators and technology platforms, be more succesful with ShipBob as well as recruit new partners. You’ll be accountable for 3 key metrics:

New Opportunitiy created by Priority Contacts for the partnerships team
New Partner Accounts joining our program
Leads sent out to our partners
Customer referrals
What you’ll do:

Own the process for sending leads to partners by ‘outbounding’ and engaging with existing clients while incentivizing internal teams to surface merchant referrals.
Outbound potential partners and set new partner meetings to introduce our program.
Support the Partner Manager team in executing Priority Contacts Outbound campaigns using multi-faceted engagement tactics to generate incoming referrals.
Nurture existing partner relationships with consistent touchpoints, educational programs, quarterly business reviews, incentive programs, revenue share and more.
Steer millions of dollars in annual deal flow through partners via co-marketing, co-selling, and other business development activities.
Maintain current tracking, reporting and digital infrastructure on behalf of all partner activity, including:
Partner Directory.
Salesforce partner pages and other leadgen forms.
ShipBob.com partner pages.
Be the voice of ShipBob at partner-heavy events in your geographies, e.g. trade shows.
Create and update campaign assets, including but not limited to landing pages, email copy, video and graphics.
Build relationships with external counterparts and develop a deep and strategic understanding of how we benefit their business, their programs and channels.
Track and measure performance of partner marketing activities and share learnings with the rest of the team to identify the most impactful levers to generate new business.
Other duties/responsibilities as necessary.
What you’ll bring to the table:

Technical aptitude or knowledge. Be Tech-Savvy and resourceful to master our tools to help you achieve your objectives. You are familiar with outbound tools such as Outreach and have demonstrated experience utilizing technology to maximize your impact.
Detail orientation and great writing skills. You are interfacing with hundreds of ShipBob customers, senior leadership, partners and potential new business opportunities. Your copywriting and creative abilities are second to none and allow you to produce very high quality content and campaigns.
Creativity and passion for design. You enjoy being creative, and design-focused. The Partner Marketing team is passionate about high-quality output and continuous improvement. We are building awareness through these campaigns and adhering to brand guidelines and high presentation standards is essential.
Willingness to get in the weeds. At ShipBob, we don’t have any roles that sit in ivory towers. You should be willing to interface directly with partner contacts, internal stakeholders, and merchants (our customers) at any level to solve problems.
Ability to “scale yourself”. This is not a sales role, but does carry performance targets. So you have to make the best use of your time by prioritizing, automating, and working through others where possible.

ShipBob believes in transparency while providing a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $46,818 – $78,030.
