Paid Media Specialist

Remote, US (Eastern or Central US preferred)

JOB MISSION:

We are looking for a Remote US based Digital Marketing Specialist, with B2B tech experience, to join our digital marketing team. This role will lead the day-to-day operations, the execution and optimization for all paid ad campaigns across multiple channels (including paid search, paid social, content syndication, and display campaigns) to drive awareness and demand generation for Cohesity.

  • You are metrics-driven and highly analytical with a consistent track record of executing digital ad campaigns utilizing data & insights to meet campaign performance goals.
  • You have expertise on Google Ads, LinkedIn ads, and programmatic display platforms, as well as familiarity with running content syndication programs with media vendors.
  • You have shown experience in developing lead generation programs and acquiring net new qualified leads.
  • You have led global paid campaigns and have some understanding of how various channels perform differently in various regions.
  • You have strong knowledge of digital advertising trends and technologies, customer acquisition funnels and lead flow.
  • You are a creative problem-solver, hands-on, highly collaborative, and excited by the challenge of working at a fast-paced, hyper-growth company.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Work with the Paid Media Manager to plan and implement media strategies to drive awareness and lead generation globally (In collaboration with the Campaigns team and global field marketing teams).
  • Day-to-day management of centrally led digital ad campaigns, builds, activations, on-going performance management and reporting (including SEM, programmatic, display, retargeting, paid social and content syndication campaigns).
  • Perform daily evaluations and optimizations for campaign health, suggest reallocations and ensure full delivery of all campaigns against budget, campaign goals and KPIs.
  • Conduct A/B testing, establish benchmarks and recommendations for future tests and optimizations.
  • Respond quickly to campaign results or strategy changes and make changes/shift budget accordingly.
  • Actively supervise media plan budgets and performance; help with billing and variance reporting.
  • Remain impeccably organized with SOWs, POs, Insertion Orders and paid media budget tracker.
  • Maintain the relationship with our media vendors, including process, deliverables, metrics, and budget. When/where applicable: negotiate make-goods, coordinate added value.
  • Work with our Campaigns, Marketing Operations, Creative Services and Web teams to deliver the creative assets, Marketo/SFDC program setups, tracking, and reporting needed to support program execution.
  • Other duties as assigned by Paid Media Manager.

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, focus in digital marketing or business preferred
  • At least 2+ years of direct experience managing multichannel digital media for B2B tech companies or media agencies or relevant environments
  • Working knowledge of Internet technologies related to media and site targeting, tagging, and tracking
  • Deep knowledge and experience executing and optimizing Google ads, LinkedIn ads, and programmatic display ad campaigns
  • Hands-on knowledge of B2B content syndication campaigns and experience optimizing lead generation campaigns with media vendors
  • Proficiency in web-based tools, preference for experience in Salesforce, Marketo and Google Suite
  • Solid understanding of marketing metrics with the ability to leverage data insights to tell a cohesive story for executive-level presentations
  • Prior experience managing large media budgets
  • Comfortable managing partners relationships and working in a globally distributed team across a variety of time zones and cultures
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • High sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and project management skills
  • Ability to be self-directed, multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to investigate, analyze and solve problems. Excellent Excel and data manipulation skills are required.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ways to stand out from the crowd

  • Agency Background: knowing how agencies operate and activate media
  • The Trade Desk and Google Ads certified
  • Google DV360 and Google Campaign Manager
  • Knowledge of ABM Marketing
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau or similar tools
  • Experience with Integrate platform

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws – This position has a minimum base salary starting at $57,600/year. Bonus, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity may be eligible for this position.
