What we are looking for:
An Overnight Reservations Agent that is a hustler who lives and breathes sales. As the first point of contact and our brand ambassador for AvantStay, you drive growth of the business by maximizing revenue from reservations and setting the tone for our guests to get excited for the exceptional experience to come.
What you’ll do…
Understand Revenue Management strategies and apply these methods to maximize occupancy per available inventory.
Drive Rate and RevPar through selling the right properties to the right guests, ensuring revenue is maximized by up-selling reservations and recommending extended stays.
Cooperate, coordinate and communicate with all other departments to ensure highest level of customer service is maintained and the maximum profit is generated.
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service – understanding and preempting guest needs to drive reservations and provide a superior experience.
Book and enter reservation information using the Property Management System, ensuring full accuracy of data in order to continuously improve sales, marketing and experience strategies.
Process and reconcile payments on all reservations, prepare and update reports as needed.
Answer telephone, text message and email inquiries in a timely manner.
Consistently demonstrate a commitment to guest experience excellence and profitably through special duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring…
Previous reservations or sales experience required.
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
Highly responsible, reliable and collaborative.
High proficiency in English language (Verbal and written).
Possess full command of CRS, PMS and other Microsoft applications (necessary training will be provided) Computer literacy in Windows, MS Office Suite, PMS systems is an added advantage.
Must possess outstanding Sales skills, Guest service skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills
Must be flexible in terms of working hours (Shift Timing).
Demonstrate a high-level understanding of the short-term rental and hospitality industries. Keep up with industry trends and local regulatory environments.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Legal right to work in the United States.
