As a Support Counselor, you’ll join our highly skilled remote team, providing outstanding service to our corporate business clients.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day
- First point of contact for ticket requests, refunds, or any issues with airlines
- Assist Independent Advisors by speaking directly with airlines
- Top Sabre knowledge including exchanges complicated international itineraries pricing & ticketing.
- Concierge style assistance for VIP clients.
- Proactively research air options and provide faster turnaround on requests
- Upgrade Programs (e.g., book specific fare class with option to upgrade and mark up the fare)
- Recommend options to shift market share where needed to maximize revenue
- Overflow coverage
- Timely and aggressive support advocating on advisor’s behalf
- Commitment to a high level of customer service for VIP clientele.

What We’re Looking For
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks
- Ability to manage stressful situations and function in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Internet savvy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent recent Sabre skills including exchanges, refunds, complicated international itineraries, pricing and ticketing
- Sabre skills at least 2 years
- Strong service focus and customer orientation for high end VIP travelers
- Well-traveled and strong working knowledge of world geography
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

The US national hourly wage range for this position is from $17.00 to $29.00 per hour. The national range provided includes the hourly rate that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual hourly wage rate will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
