About the role:
In your new role you will support process design of our insurance operations and identify areas for improvement. This role assists in the development of process improvements and facilitates cross-functional support where needed.
You will report to the Senior Operations Manager. This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. Responsibilities:
- You will improve and build workflows and tools that increase efficacy and efficiency of existing operational processes or unlock new capabilities
- Surface data, process, and technology issues through proactive identification, measurement, and monitoring of our operations
- You will monitor and utilize data to independently drive and track business decisions
- Create workflow documentation, SOPs and policies
- Utilize internal tools and technical processes to execute database queries and dashboard creation
- Support the Operations teams to resolve escalations through issue investigation, training, and technical tooling.
- Understand relevant policies and workflows
- Manage and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders as a representative of Insurance Operations
Requirements:
- 1+ years of work experience in health insurance, utilization management, and/or operations
- Proficiency in SQL or similar database language experience
- Experience supporting process / workflow building, operational improvement, or project management
Bonus points:
- A Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
- Prior work experience in tech, healthcare, audit, or management consulting
