Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- 100% remote (U.S.-based)
- Regular, reliable attendance required
Responsibilities
- Handle high-volume inbound calls from members, providers, employer/group staff, and brokers
- Issue service authorizations and process claim inquiries
- Provide accurate benefits, claims status, and service information
- Respond to requests for ID cards, authorizations, and customer service needs
- Process claims according to department policies and procedures
- Coordinate with Provider Relations, Sales, and other departments to meet customer needs
- Document and escalate service failures or concerns
- Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency in all interactions
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry
- Support additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (college coursework preferred)
- 2+ years of customer service or call center experience
- 2+ years in healthcare or insurance preferred
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to diffuse challenging situations and educate callers at varying knowledge levels
- Knowledge of health or vision insurance preferred
- Bilingual skills a plus
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly pay: $19–$21
