Role Overview
As a Member Services Associate, you’ll be the first point of contact for Maven members navigating fertility benefits, insurance reimbursements, and claims documentation. You’ll deliver empathetic, accurate, and efficient support via messaging, live chat, and phone. You’ll help ensure members feel seen, supported, and confident in their care journey while meeting high service standards.
Shifts Available
- Tues–Sat: Weekdays 1:00 pm–9:30 pm ET, weekends 9:00 am–5:30 pm ET
- Tues–Sat: Weekdays 8:30 am–5:00 pm ET, weekends 9:00 am–5:30 pm ET
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to member inquiries on fertility benefits, program navigation, and claims
- Guide members through insurance reimbursement processes and documentation submission
- Process receipts for reimbursement in Maven Wallet and handle related member issues
- Translate materials for reimbursement processing on international cases
- Maintain member-facing program overviews and internal resources
- Triage Wallet queue tickets to ensure timely responses
- Assist frontline staff with FAQs on payments, benefits, and program use
- Follow escalation protocols for member issues and coordinate with relevant teams
- Support operational tasks as needed for Wallet and benefits programs
Minimum Qualifications
- 1–2 years in a member-facing role (healthcare, fertility benefits, or insurance preferred)
- Strong knowledge of insurance processes, benefits structures, and claims workflows
- Experience with reimbursement processing and documentation review
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills
- High empathy, professionalism, and communication skills (written & verbal)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare, financial services, or claims management
- Payment management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Spanish fluency (verbal & written)
Compensation
- Base salary: $55,000–$65,000/year
