The Member Services team is the heart and primary contact for members’ inquiries regarding the administration of their Health Savings and Reimbursement Accounts. Team members within Member Services are valued and respected as they are equipped with the knowledge to assist and deliver exceptional service and education to each member.

The Member Services team is staffed 24/7 which allows members to call at their convenience. Member Services team members build strong, lasting relationships with members by understanding their needs and concerns. This team takes the lead in providing a delightful experience for every person who contacts HealthEquity via our service center.

This is a regular, full time position and will be REMOTELY based. Our starting rate of pay is $16.25/hr. Bonuses are also available.

What you’ll be doing

  • Having fun and bringing fun to work

  • Providing exceptional service by taking back-to-back inbound calls in our education service center
  • Problem solving
  • Desire to continually learn and improve your knowledge by utilizing continuous training that is provided
  • Educating members on the benefits of their various accounts

What you will need to be successful

  • Customer service experience a plus
  • Previous experience working in banking or a financial institution is an asset
  • Exceptional ability to build trust and communicate with members in order to fully meet their needs
  • Ability to navigate various computer applications and manage multiple screens (There’s a lot to know!)
  • Ability to meet adherence expectations
  • Strong ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and proficiency in all aspects of account maintenance. (A little perfectionism doesn’t hurt)
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work as a team player and as an individual contributor. (Love those overachievers)
  • Understanding of health care and insurance is beneficial
