We are looking for a ‘Member Flow Specialist’ to enhance and manage processes that support Brightside patients’ treatment and plan of care. This individual is responsible for and dedicated to the clinical and administrative coordination of Brightside patients. These members may have complex behavioral and mental health care needs and need support and connections to appropriate levels of care. This individual will work closely with clinical and administrative teams at Brightside to align care transition activities and achieve desired goals and metrics.
What you’ll do as Member Flow Specialist :
Organizes and prioritizes referrals to promote member safety and meet member needs within the continuum of care.
Ensures all referral information is accurate and complete.
Collaborates with clinical teams to prioritize patient referrals based on clinical assessments.
Provides exceptional customer service with all customer groups including providers, therapists, administrators, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Adapts to change in systems, practices, technology, and variables in practice setting such as patient volume, patient acuity, experience of personnel, utilization of supplies, and resources.
Identify areas for process enhancement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain open and effective communication with clinical staff, administrative teams, and external partners.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and sensitive data.
Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements:
Have customer-facing experience in a health-care setting or fast-paced startup
Has healthcare experience, preferably in a mental health or behavioral health setting, or customer service
Can take initiative and thrive in a semi-structured and dynamic work environment
Have a BA/BS degree (preferred)
Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
Reside in Texas (preferred)
