Schedule

  • 100% remote (work-from-home)
  • Full-time schedule with consistent hours
  • Must be available for training and ongoing compliance updates
  • Maintain reliable high-speed internet and quiet workspace

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from members, potential members, brokers, employer groups, and other stakeholders
  • Verify prescription drug eligibility, benefits, claims, and authorizations
  • Assist members in understanding coverage, enrollment materials, and provider networks
  • Document and forward concerns, complaints, and appeals
  • Comply with healthcare practices, policies, and regulatory standards (DMHC, CMS, NCQA)
  • Research and resolve operational or member issues quickly and accurately
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve inquiries
  • Assist with premium and billing questions; process ACH and credit card payments
  • Participate in special projects such as member education, new member orientation, and claims investigation

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ call center experience
  • At least 1 year in Medicare customer service or Medicare in-office support
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and sound judgment
  • Knowledge of health maintenance organizations and healthcare benefits
  • Basic computer skills and accurate data entry
  • Preferred: Epic database experience, AA in Business or Health Care Administration
