Responsibilities
- Record patient history, symptoms, diagnoses, and relevant medical background
- Document provider findings, follow-up plans, and prescribed treatments
- Transcribe medical dictation and verbal orders for labs, imaging, and medications
- Create and maintain accurate records within EHR/EMR systems
- Facilitate communication between providers, staff, and patients
- Ensure compliance with institutional standards and healthcare privacy regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Support coordination across healthcare teams
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a medical or pharmaceutical-related field
- 1+ year of experience as a Medical Scribe, Medical VA, or in Medical Documentation
- Strong English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
- Solid understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems and basic technical troubleshooting
- Clear understanding of healthcare privacy standards
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Tech-savvy with familiarity in cloud platforms and remote tools
Technical Requirements
- USB headset with noise cancellation
- Working webcam
- Primary & backup computer (minimum 1.8 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM)
- Primary internet: 25 Mbps wired
- Backup internet: 10 Mbps minimum
