Basic qualifications:
- Ability to commit long -term with daytime office availability
- Typing test score of 60+ WPM
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum GPA 3.2
- Passion and long-term interest in the medical field with a dedication to succeed.
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently and work as part of a team.
- Strong and professional written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to details
- Computer literacy, efficiency, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accompany physician and patients’ examinations virtually and document patient information into the EMR during the patient encounter (history, chief complaint, review of systems, physical exam)
- Successfully operate the EMR in real-time through audio to document any procedures performed by the physician, as well as patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc.
Location:
- Must reside in one of the following states to be eligible for hire: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana or Virginia
Equipment:
- Employees will need to provide their own equipment; this includes a computer/laptop, internet, and headphones. Please note that Chromebooks are not supported by our technology requirements.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate based on experience
- Paid Training
- Mileage reimbursements, as needed
