Schedule

  • Full-time, remote position
  • Monday–Friday schedule with coordination between franchise partners, payers, and internal teams

What You’ll Do

  • Review and respond to insurance correspondence by producing and delivering medical records promptly
  • Process all release of information requests, ensuring accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and quality customer service
  • Validate and authorize the release of medical information per established procedures
  • Apply medical terminology knowledge to evaluate and ensure complete, accurate clinical documentation
  • Communicate with franchise partners to obtain missing documentation and facilitate complete patient records
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
  • Research and resolve discrepancies, recommending preventive measures
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations while documenting all actions taken

What You Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized training (required)
  • 2+ years of healthcare experience (preferred)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (preferred)
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and medical terminology (preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret medical records and insurance correspondence
  • Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT/HCPC coding guidelines (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and pharmacy applications
  • Advanced data entry skills
