Schedule
- Full time, Remote

- Pay range: $16.00–$17.00/hr
- Office-style remote work with prolonged time seated at a computer and on the phone
What You’ll Do
- Handle incoming calls, emails, faxes, and web requests to start cases and complete call logs
- Enter and verify patient/member demographic information accurately in the system
- Determine whether requested services require pre-certification based on employer/TPA contracts and standards
- Make outbound calls to collect missing information needed to complete cases
- Complete incoming electronic Webcerts
- Send CM reports/invoices and Path letters, and manage incoming Path letter responses
- Attach, distribute, and troubleshoot high-volume faxes (often 100–200 per day), including opening cases from faxed requests
- Support nurses by requesting bill-to dates/discharge dates, faxing PA reviews, and handling miscellaneous case requests via email
- Call DM/THR patients to introduce the program, connect them with the nurse, and transfer cases appropriately
- Verify and correct patient/provider demographic details as needed
- Create cheat sheets, documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence to support workflows
- Handle mailing support for UR, CM, and DM functions
What You Need
- High school diploma
- Excellent data entry and typing skills
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in relevant applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Ability to multitask on complex tasks with accuracy under pressure
- Customer service or call center experience (preferred)
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Stress tolerance and teamwork mindset
- Ability to handle difficult situations tactfully and diplomatically
- Effective problem solving and decision making skills
