Job notes:
- Hiring method: Contract to Hire / Temp to Perm
- 100% remote, equipment will be provided
- 37.5-40 hour work week; Monday – Friday, 8AM-5PM EST
- Starting pay rate: $18/hour
Responsibilities include,
- Working through assigned accounts with outstanding AR for medical services
- Reading and interpreting EOBs and COBs
- Following up with insurance carrier regarding non-payment or denied claims
- Correcting claims, making claim edits, including medical records or other needed documentation, re-billing claims
- Working accounts until payment is received
Qualifications include:
- 1 or more years of experience in Medical Collections, required
- Physician or Facility claims follow up experience is required
- Must be highly organized, work well independently and in fast paced/deadline driven environments
- Prior experience using medical billing software and payer web portals
- Must be available to work Eastern hours
