Schedule
- Full-time, remote role
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST (must be able to work Eastern hours)
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and process complex medical claims in line with program policies
- Adjudicate claims using critical thinking and compliance knowledge
- Ensure timely processing to meet regulatory and client standards
- Collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies and barriers
- Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant records of claims activity
- Monitor trends in claim issues, support audits, and contribute to process improvements
- Mentor and train new claims processors as needed
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of medical claims processing (professional, facility, complex, and high-dollar claims)
- Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Understanding of medical terminology, healthcare services, and insurance procedures
- Experience with denial resolution and appeals process
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage high claim volumes accurately and efficiently
- Billing-only experience does not count toward required qualifications
