This is a remote, first-shift role supporting injured workers through a concierge style early intervention program. You’ll juggle files, coordinate with providers, keep cases moving, and be the steady, organized voice on the phone when people are dealing with a stressful moment.

Schedule
- Full time
- Remote (Chicago, IL listed)
- Monday to Friday, 1st shift (Central time)
- Some in-office days reserved for training or team events
What You’ll Do
- Manage and assign files to appropriate staff and initiate contacts with employers, clients, claimants, and medical providers
- Set up files in required systems and assign files to nurses when applicable
- Maintain responsibility for an individual caseload
- Maintain electronic and paper files accurately
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary providers (PT, diagnostics, psychology, and more)
- Identify, maintain, and update participating provider information
- Answer incoming calls and route appropriately
- Process documents using computer, copier, and scanner
- Pull internal criteria guidelines as needed
- Meet turnaround time expectations for assigned activities
- Keep your supervisor updated on problems, delays, or workflow issues
- Build knowledge of products, services, and customer needs through ongoing training and self-directed research
- Follow company policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
What You Need
- Preferred experience in one or more of the following:
- CNA, Medical Assistant, Physical Therapy Aide
- Workers’ Compensation or disability
- Medical Unit Claims Administrator, IME Coordinator, Medical Office Manager
- Degree preferred (associate or bachelor’s), not required
- Intermediate computer and internet skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to read medical reports and research evidence-based guidelines
- Understanding of workflow guidelines and ability to follow systems and procedures
- Strong verbal, telephone, and written communication skills
- High efficiency and ability to maintain rapid workflow
- Strong organization, planning, prioritization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Empathy and a customer service mindset, especially with injured or disabled individuals
